Going on and on

So its been what a week and a bit ?

Well alots happened , my internship is going great i'm progressing further an further . I have been given responsibility of twitter and facebook ! ( eek )

However majorly !! I GOT TO BE IN CUBES PROMO !

Ye si played a 15 year old hooligan called freddy , this involved as any filming does alot of waiting around and doing shots and shots over and pver again . Personally i loved the experience i finally actuall got back into the actign swing. It was perfection. The whole promo was done in a professional way that made me very happy about the play and to be part of the experience.

Here is a teaser of the set that i helped build , again that being a challenge in its self as i am no way near experienced in , but now i can probably note (Porbably) make a scaffold of some sort ...

Anway i did the promo and learned and had an amazing time, learnt quote a bit more about hands on process of on set filming.

Back to the cathedral installation that i also helped work on and advertise over twitter .We got a lovely response from teacher at one of the schools we work shopped at.

I had to email to say how terrific the work is that's come out of the schools workshops. I spent over half an hour watching and listening at the booth in the cathedral, and was so impressed, and moved, by the way the students had responded to this opportunity. The booth itself looks very good, and was attracting a lot of attention while I was there. I really hope some of the schools will have brought parties of students to see it for themselves during the week, they should be so proud of what they've achieved.

> The whole week is proving to be a fascinating experience for me, and the public feedback suggests we've struck a chord with many people. I was at the lecture yesterday evening and during the Q&A session at the end one member of the audience took the opportunity not to ask a question but to draw everybody's attention to the schools' contributions around the cathedral and to urge them to spend time exploring what the students had achieved.

> I'd be really interested in any feedback you may have regarding your experience of the project, do please let me know your thoughts.

> It's been such a pleasure working with you. Thank you so much for taking this on and doing such a brilliant job. Please do pass my thanks on to all your colleagues too.

With this being said we at cube are thrilled with it, the response to WW1 and
cornwall remembers projects in the cathedral have been all positive and encouraging.

Now for my update on current PIC status . I am still looking theatre companies ans social media and a big learnign curve was teh difference there is between tumblr, twitter, facebook etc (yes ofcourse there is a massive differnece) i just came to discover that what you post for example on facebook might be taken the wrong way if you were to post it on Tumblr as the two sites hold very different audiences, Facebook you get choose, Tumblr and twitter are so much more open and let you as a public figure be seen by the public eye.

However for now, i have kind of drifted into how a real working experience is effecting my own personal view of what i am studying? Right now i am experiencing PR and admin , which actually i'm thoroughly enjoying i am finding cube future venues to work with getting box office details for them and our current venues to sell our tickets. Ticket sales is also another thing i am helping with , the general flyer handing and Facebook posting etc just putting in a hand whenever i can. Handling print services and quotes has become sort of my thing at this present time having my emails blaze up every day is a weird thing to get use too but its actually quite exciting.  I am also organizing accommodation and crowd funding for cube's summer projects for Edinburgh fringe that cube will do and crowd funding for "After the Accident" and general awareness about cube.

For example, i have acquired i costs and intakes for certain companies and services we may be using and then distributed to each company what we can spend and the best quote would be for us as a company.

For our accommodation its been a little bit trickier as i'm having to tell them exact dates and details, this being really quite unknown as its so far away but i have managed to see it through and get the information i needed.

Oh yeah i also have been invited to RSA (royal society of arts) event to document for them again

Kind of feel like this at some points in my internship..

More to come on all of this soon....MUHAHAHAH

Jx
