In an interesting turn of events following all my good news...
My university has decided to close my course, i am allowed to complete it... but its sad because e
it's diverse history and individuality is what attracts people to study at falmouths theatre department. I mean truthfully i wouldn't of been able to do my internship if i hadn't done this course...
Everyone angry including me , very angry , its like we now pay 9 grand a year for a course that my uni are willing to throw away at a drop of a hat. It hurts us students who thought we had something special in our course and cared and worked so hard at it . The point is we are allowed to carry on which is great but they seem to forget to future employers what do we say ?
"Oh i did theatre at falmouth, but they dropped it when i was in third year?" ... yep i can see it now , "well that's why you shouldn't go and study theatre because even the university, do not want to keep it in their syllabus ..... kinda feel a little screwed by the system.
We have a meeting on Monday at the uni but a guarantee it will be a very well rehearsed speech that they have come up with to sneakily get away with it. Most of us third years are away doing our own projects which si to be honest why we all choose this uni ... THE FACT IT LETS US GET EXPERIENCE !!!! we got a pathetic email saying sorry it's closing now ......

that is what we get after putting so much time and effort into it. anyways the meeting will happen we will be told its going to be alright we still get to finish... but i will still probably feel like doing this..
i decided to blog post about it in my PIC as its kind of halted everyone's projects. Guess we will wait and see . oh the joys.
